Who we are and what this policy covers
This website is operated by Families Against Social Media Addiction, doing business as Unite for Safe Social Media (“UNITE,” “we,” or “us”). This policy explains how we handle information collected through this website, including newsletter signups, contact forms, donations, and embedded media.
This policy does not govern websites or services operated by other organizations, even when we link to or embed them.
Information we collect
Information you choose to provide
- Newsletter signup: your email address and related subscription status.
- Contact forms: your name, email address, reason for contacting us, message, and any optional organization or location information you provide.
- Donations: the donation amount and transaction information made available to us by Stripe. Stripe collects payment and billing details on its secure checkout page. UNITE does not see or store your full payment-card number.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting, security, and embedded-media providers may automatically receive limited technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, timestamps, security signals, and cookies needed to operate or protect their services. Embedded video and podcast players may receive information when they load or when you interact with them.
